Have you hugged your tree today?

I'm pretty sure my mission in life is to save the environment.. or to at least play some sort of role in it!
Today my carbon footprint became just a wee bit smaller. All I did was make a request to my bank to stop sending me those annoying statements! To be honest, I don't even like looking at them because they remind me of poor life decisions that usually involved retail in one way or another ;)
Now, if my small gesture today is combined with YOUR small gesture to do your banking online (I mean lets be honest.. you're online right now anyway reading this.. busted) then the small gestures can add up to one really big gesture. Anyway, it's fast & easy. Go do it!

In style, love & trees,

Hi.. My name is...

Hi Ya'll. Welcome to my Blog. First time blog posts seem so awkward so lets take total advantage of that, shall we?
A little about me... I'm Kelly, I'm 24, and I'm constantly consumed with my curiosity about life and everything it has to offer. I'm a fashion designer, an artist, a volunteer, a self-proclaimed comedian, a freelance writer, and consider myself to be a down-to-earth girl with a unique perspective and I want to share that with you (not to sound cheesy, okay.. maybe just a little cheesy)
The Kelly Green Movement encompasses everything I love including fashion, beauty, writing, food, art, travel, & entertainment... while including organic, sustainable, recycled, and natural materials. I'm a lover of life, a lover of style, and a lover of earth. Yes I have been known to hug a tree... and yes I may or may not have done so in high heels. :)
With my humble roots planted in Detroit, I have learned that style is affordable and all beauty really lies in the eye of the beholder. Thank you for checking out my site and I hope you continue to come back :)

Just "hanging out" with some college friends while showing our peace & love for the Detroit Tigers at Comerica park.

My friend Kristin and myself (in the green, how fitting) hanging out downtown after riding the people mover :)

In style & love,
Kel
